Welches Zelt?
Anfänger sollten erstmal eins borgen, möglichst viele aufgebaute in großen Outdoorläden ausprobieren oder eventuell einfach ein billiges kaufen. In guten Läden wird man meist sehr gut beraten, aber letztlich muss man folgende Fragen für sich klären: Für wieviele Leute soll das Zelt sein? Wo will man damit hin? Möglichst klein oder ruhig Stehhöhe? Ständig unterwegs oder drei Wochen am gleichen Platz?
Wer sein Zelt ordentlich pflegt, also stets trocken einpackt und auf den Untergrund achtet, kann sehr viele Jahre damit glücklich werden. Insofern macht Qualität bei häufigem Zelten Sinn.
Persönlich würde ich stets Salewa, Jack Wolfskin und Vaude empfehlen. Ich kenne aber auch Leute, die seit Jahren auf Aldi-Zelte schwören. Ich selbst habe ein inzwischen 15 Jahre altes von Jack Wolfskin namens Windriver, welches es inzwischen gar nicht mehr gibt sowie eins von der amerikanischen Firma Kelty. Mein Sohn hat früher sein Wurfzelt von Decathlon und später sein italienisches Einpersonenzelt geliebt. Der andere Sohn schwört auf sein leichtes Elixir von MRS.
Mein derzeitiger Favourit ist das Baul 4 von der noch relativen unbekannten tschechischen Firma Husky.….endlich mal in einem Zelt stehen können, unter 8 Kilo Gewicht und leicht aufzufbauen. Und es hält starkem Regen stand!
